vivo Imagine Smartphone photography awards is a mobile photo/video competition service platform. You can upload your photos through the vivo Imagine official website or other official channels to participate as may be published/intimated. vivo Mobile India Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "We"/ “vivo”/ "Us") is the organizer of vivo Imagine Smartphone photography awards (the "Service") and the Company is responsible for the processing of personal data with respect to the Service. vivo’s partner FREEWAY ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY operates the vivo Imagine official website and separately processes your personal data in connection with your use of the website.

Data and purposes
vivo Imagine website provides account login and usage services. When you log in to the Service with your vivo account, we will collect your account-related information (such as account ID, nickname, profile photo, and phone number or email address that you use to register your vivo account), to provide account services. In order to optimize the user experience of the Service, we will also use your account ID to count the number of visitors and logins to the Service.
When you participate in the competition, you hereby consent to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of that information obtained by Us. We will collect your Name, Age, Gender, Phone number, Photo submission category, Caption, Email ID, Instagram ID Time period when picture was clicked, Device used to click the picture, one government ID proof so that We can contact you accordingly to confirm that your works is/are original.
You can change your Personal Information, such as your contact details, at any time by visiting the Account Centre. When you change your personal information, the data stored on the server will also change. You may at any time modify your personal information, such as your contact details, by going to “Account Centre”. Once you modify your personal information, data stored in the server will also change accordingly.
We shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any violation or misuse of your Personal Information by unauthorised persons consequent to misuse of the internet environment. Recognizing that your privacy is important to you, vivo employs technical security measures to protect your Personal Information. However, vivo guarantees no transmission over the internet to be completely secure. Consequently, vivo, its affiliates, related companies, third-party service providers and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents disclaim any representations, warranties, or guarantees that Personal Information shall be fully protected against misuse, loss or alterations. Moreover, where you are required to use email id, passwords, personal identification numbers or other special access features on this website it is your responsibility to safeguard them.
The terms ‘Personal Information’ and ‘Sensitive Personal Data or Information’ shall have the meaning ascribed to it under the applicable laws of India including but not limited to Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules and regulations made thereunder (as amended from time to time) and shall also mean and include any information that can reasonably identify you as an individual, and any other information We associate with it.
You can register for the competition before the “submission deadline”, and We will store your registration record.
When you upload your works through the vivo Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards official website, We will collect your works (photos or videos) and information about your works, such as the title, description, competition category, location, device model, and meta data information of your works.
When you submit your works through other official channels such as email, we will collect your nickname, works, and information about your works.
You agree that if your works pass the preliminary examination, they will be displayed on the vivo Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards official website. Other users may see your account-related information (such as your nickname) and work-related information (such as the title, description competition category, location, device model, and meta data information of your works) through the website.
After the submission deadline is reached and the preliminary review is completed, We will select the winning works. We may contact you during the selection process. For example, We may need to contact you according to the contact information you have provided to review whether your works are original and whether they were shot with mobile phones.
After the selection, if your works win awards, you agree to our online or offline publicity and display it on the vivo Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards official website and other official cooperation channels. The information to be published may include your works, information about your works, your nickname, and the award status of your works.
When your works are awarded, We will contact you through the contact details you have provided to further collect or confirm your name, address, bank account, appropriate identity documents, and copyright statement so that we can verify your identity and send prizes to you.
To guarantee your rights and interests in the competition, please make sure that the contact details you provide are accurate. Otherwise, we may not be able to verify your works and/or identity, thus failing to judge or award your works or being unable to send prizes to you.
We process the data for the above purposes upon your consent to these Terms. However, other legal bases may be applicable on certain occasions as stated in Section 2 of our Privacy Policy.
Security:
We care about protecting your personal data. We have put in place appropriate security measures, including but not limited to encryption and anonymization techniques, which are designed to protect your personal data from unauthorized use, damage, or loss. We will do our best to protect your personal data. If you suspect any unauthorized use, damage, or loss of your personal data, please let us know immediately using the contact details set out below.

We will retain your aforementioned Personal Information collected by Us for such period as may be necessary for the above purposes of processing, or as may be required under the law.

In order to provide operational support for the Service (including works selection, background checks, contacting winners, and sending prizes), your name, address, bank account, appropriate identity documents, and copyright statement will be processed by third-party service provider(s) Otherwise, We will only share your data when required in response to a legal process or request from a competent authority according to applicable laws.
Please note that when you confirm to upload your works, you agree to submit your works for the competition and authorize vivo to make the selection. For the purpose of facilitating service to you, User-related information such as account ID, nickname, and contact details will be stored in data centres located in India so that we can conduct our multiple selections. Please be aware that We requisite procedures and agreements in place with such third- party service provider(s) to protect your data and they will ensure to use same standard of care that is no less than ours. We will share your nickname, account ID, contact details (phone number/email address), and works-related information (work titles, select results) with the operational personnel in your area. The operational personnel will contact you based on the above information to complete the pre-check and prize delivery.
You have various rights with respect to the data which we hold about you. In order to make it easier for you to access, correct, or delete your personal data and to protect your right to withdraw your consent, We have provided you with convenient settings and you can refer to the following guidelines for operation.
You can visit the Account Centre at any time and update the personal information you provided in your vivo account. If you want to delete your account-related information in the Service, you can do so through the cancellation method or channel set up in vivo account. However, account cancellation may result in the unavailability of services and the loss of data and related virtual assets, so please exercise caution when making sure you are aware of the consequences.
You may delete your uploaded works before the "Submission Deadline" by going to "Works Management". You understand and agree that if the competition enters the "Preliminary Examination" and the "Final Selection" has not yet been completed, you will not be able to upload or delete your works.
