Vineet is one of India’s most recognised street photographers, known for turning fleeting, everyday moments into layered compositions full of humour and human observation. The first Indian Leica Ambassador, he is also the founder of Art Photo Feature and has exhibited and taught photography internationally.

For the theme ‘My City’, choose a city that draws you in. Follow its people, places, sounds, rituals and contradictions, then turn what you discover into a 60-second Short Film that shows us the city through your eyes.

Who can enter?
Open to Indian citizens aged 18 and above. Eligibility will be verified using a valid government-issued photo ID.

Shot on a vivo device
Every photograph and Short Film must be captured by the participant on a vivo device. It is a defining rule of the Awards, and applies to every entry.

One category per entry
Each submission must be entered under one category. You may participate across multiple categories, but each work must be submitted separately.

Submission timeline
Submissions close on 1 November 2026 at 11:59 PM IST. The judging process begins after the entry window closes.
- 05
How will we judge your entries?
Each eligible entry is reviewed anonymously by an experienced professional jury, so the work is judged on its own merit. Entries are evaluated on craft, including composition, light, colour and technical execution, as well as creative vision, originality, storytelling, interpretation and timing.
DO
- Send us the original. Straight from your vivo, just as it was captured.
- Pick the category that feels most like home for your entry.
- Let your curiosity show. The strongest frames usually start with something worth noticing.
- Keep your original and raw files safe. You may need them if you are shortlisted.
DON’T
- Do not send your file on a WhatsApp world tour before uploading it. Keep the original intact.
- Do not edit it until the photograph forgets what it used to be. Keep processing in check.
- Do not submit AI-generated imagery. We want your eye, not an artificial one.
- Do not submit someone else’s work or anything shot on a non-vivo device. Keep it yours.
