Zoya Akhtar

Zoya Akhtar is a renowned filmmaker whose work has left a profound mark on Indian cinema. With 13 awards to her name, including multiple Filmfare Awards, she is celebrated for her critically acclaimed films such as Luck By Chance (2009) and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). Her film Gully Boy (2019), inspired by Mumbai's street rappers, not only achieved commercial success but also received an official Oscar entry and won 13 Filmfare Awards. Recently, Akhtar was honoured with the Living Legend Award at the annual India-UK Achievers Honours in London in recognition of her contributions to enhancing India’s global cinematic presence. Aamir Wani

Aamir Wani is an artist, a cinematographer, photographer, filmmaker, poet, and a writer. After completing his education in the UK, he returned to Kashmir in 2014 to begin his photographic career. With a major in Cinematography, he completed his MFA in Filmmaking from the International Film and Television School, Paris in 2021, where he won ‘The Best Cinematography Award’ for two of his short films. His documentary ‘Firdaus’ was shortlisted for the BAFTA LA ‘Best Documentary’ award in 2021. Aamir's work is inspired by Kashmiri-American poet Agha Shahid Ali which has earned him numerous accolades, including India’s Best Travel Photographer by Travel + Leisure (2017) and the ‘mBillionth Award’ by DEF and UN World Awards for Heritage and Tourism (2018). He was also featured in Forbes India among India’s top 100 digital stars (2023)
